Content Contributor: Arts & Entertainment
Trumbull Satellite welcomes submissions of poetry, stories, comic strips, artwork, videos, audios, or proposals for a creative series in comedy, drama, romance, or other genres. Compose a report on something happening at the Trumbull Campus, in Trumbull County, at Kent State University, or even in the Northeast Ohio region.

Possible Topics: campus events, technology, sports, movie reviews, book reviews, music reviews, cooking, travel, local employment, local restaurant reviews, campus developments, or compose a well informed opinion piece—an editorial of sorts. These projects can be in print, audio, image, or video.

Content Contributor: News & Information
Compose a report on something happening at the Trumbull Campus, in Trumbull County, at Kent State University, or even in the Northeast Ohio region.

Designer
We are always looking to update our website and social media to appeal to audiences of all ages. Designs are constantly in the works for t-shirts, buttons, stickers, and other items for staff members and promotion purposes.

Promotions & Marketing
This role works with the Content Manager and Designer(s) to propose and develop marketing materials. They will assist in promoting Trumbull Satellite to: KSU Trumbull students. faculty, staff, administration, and the surrounding off-campus (Trumbull County, Northeast Ohio) community.

Fundraiser & Treasurer
Keep track of funds coming in and funds going out. Work with staff and Content Manager to raise funds (event fundraisers, selling advertisements, etc.). Write a proposal for private funding.

Content Recruiter
Work with the Content Manager, Student Club Organizer & Recruiter, and Promotions & Marketing team to promote increase staff/membership, and to put out a call for content (proposals, ideas, articles, other projects). Network with individual students outside the class to recruit content for this semester’s issue.

Assistant Content Manager
The Assistant Content Manager is “in training” to one day become a Content Manager (see below). This individual helps to oversee all aspects of the organization and production.

Content Manager
The Content Manager is the leader of Trumbull Satellite, who oversees all aspects of the organization and the production of this digital magazine. For their leadership and hard work, Content Managers receive a $1000.00 scholarship (Trumbull campus) each semester, with additional funds possible.

Content Manager(s) and Staff should follow Kent State University Administrative Policy Regarding Student Media Board (4-12.1), as well as the Guidelines of the Student Media Board. Content Manager(s) and Staff should also subscribe to canons of responsible journalism, as stated in the “Society of Professional Journalists Code of Ethics,” and the “Radio-Television Digital News Association Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct,” to the canons of responsible website production as stated in the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Technical Architecture Group (TAG) ethical web Principles, and be free to develop their own editorial and program policies.
