The Bigger Pandemic
Hearing about family, friends, neighbors
Falling ill with this new disease
Going deaf in our own home
Screaming “Can you help me, please?”
Perhaps the Earth was sick
Unsure of the path ahead
Drastic measures need to be taken quick
Because Earth won’t be the one that ends up dead.
